Job Duties:
− Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
− Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
− Pick orders and stock
− Weigh materials and goods
− Make labels and attach to goods
− Wrap Goods
− Pack and unpack goods
− Sort, crate, and stack goods
− Install, lash, and secure goods
− Store cargo ad materials
Requirements
Education: Some secondary school is required
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive Tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Personal suitability: Organized, Team player, Reliability, Client focus, Accurate.
Weight handling: Up to 45kg (100 lbs)
Language: Basic level of English is required.
Salary: $23.00 hourly, 40 - 45 hours per week
Benefits: Accommodation available at a cost, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate, Uniform provided by employer. Transportation among work locations covered by employer.
Important Information: Work schedule is 5 days a week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on a rotational basis. However, flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier, and others finish later depending on the business needs. Overtime and work on weekends and holidays may be required.
