Maintenance Tech 1 (3-5 yrs experience) $35.00- $40.00/hr.
Maintenance Tech (5 yrs+ experience) $37.00-$42.00/hr.
Sign-on bonus of $500 after a 3-month probation.
Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Benefits: Great benefits package including RRSP.

Shifts: 2-week rotating shift schedule. Shifts are 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, and 11pm – 7am. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.


High School diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education related to machinery maintenance and repair is required.
Red Seal or ON Journeyperson’s Millwright or Electrician certificate an asset.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors required.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work well in a small team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set-up and operate of process equipment.
Large range of activities relating to electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic controls.
Automation controls adjustments and settings.
Troubleshoot functional problems and resolve in a timely manner.
Change defective or worn-out parts (motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, etc.).
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, according to schedule.
Install and put in function machines and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and repairs on any equipment, machines and installations.
Participate in all Health and Safety, GMP and HACCP training as required.
Comply with company and provincial safety regulations eg OHSA, WSIB, MOL.
Other duties as required.

Working Conditions:

May be required to stand/sit/squat for long periods of time.
May engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25kg/55 lbs.
Must be able to work in tight or enclosed spaces.
