(CSF) is a specialty Dissolving Wood Pulp company focused on high purity lyocell and other high purity softwood-based products at the former Weyerhaeuser Specialty Cellulose Mill in Cosmopolis, Washington. They are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to oversee all aspects of electrical and instrumentation within the mill. Reporting to the M&E Manager, this key role will lead the E&I department to ensure the highest level of safety, productivity, work quality, and reliability.

Shifts: M – F days.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Instrument or Electrical Technical degree / certification preferred.
A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered.

10+ years of experience in key maintenance/engineering role in a manufacturing or production environment.
5+ years of experience supervising or managing an electrical & instrumentation/maintenance team.
Experience in high purity cellulose or chemical environment highly preferred with Pulp, Paper, and/or Forest Products experience a plus.

Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated successful performance in managing outages, shut-downs and start-ups.
Demonstrated knowledge in industrial instrumentation and process control loop systems.
Must possess the ability to interpret electrical diagrams/schematics and loop drawings.
Demonstrated successful performance in managing outages, shut-downs and start-ups.
Demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting of operational electrical and instrumentation systems required.
Must possess knowledge of OSHA guidelines, NFPA 70E, National Electrical Code and safe work practices.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, communication, team building, training, development, and change management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook with the ability to learn new applications as required.
Understanding and demonstrated knowledge in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). SAP a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of the E & I department with responsibility for scheduling, timecards and payroll, safety, productivity, training, performance, job satisfaction, and quality of service.
Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, switching, isolation, calibration and new installation tasks for electrical and instrumentation work.
Overall responsibility of the computerized electrical and instrumentation management system, including planning, tracking and updating all work orders.
Responsible for monitoring various KPIs to measure the effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities in the various electrical and instrumentation functions.
Responsible for coordination, writing and record keeping of requests for information or quotes, change orders, and estimates for additional out of scope work.
Identify, develop scope, plan, and implement various capital projects pertaining to electrical and instrumentation within the mill.
Other duties as required.

Working Requirements:
Employee will be required to climb stairs and ladders, work above ground, stoop, crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions, and perform repetitive motions.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to a wide range of temperatures, vibrations, odors, fumes or airborne particles, toxic, acidic, and/or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, equipment and/or vehicular traffic, and risk of electrical shock.
Exposure to noise levels that are frequently loud, as is common in a manufacturing and/or mill operation.
