General Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will get hands-on experience in sourcing, screening and the recruitment process.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, have knowledge of HR/recruitment, be customer service focused, have the ability to build relationships with recruiters and candidates, and help to determine sourcing strategy in assigned markets.

The Recruitment Coordinator role will learn and be responsible for full life cycle recruiting in a centralized, high volume, on-line based recruiting role. The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position approval through to successful integration into Hertz. The Recruitment Coordinator will source qualified and diverse candidates to meet position requirements from internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools. In addition, the Recruitment Coordinatormanages the recruitment process and ensures compliance with government regulations regarding employment.

The successful candidate will build relationships and work closely with Hiring Managers to staff their locations with talent.

Mandatory Requirements:

Educational Background:

The ideal candidate is working towards a degree in Human Resource Management/Business or has recently obtained a Bachelors degree.

Preferred Requirements :

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Strong organizational & Administrative skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Previous experience in Human Resources and/or recruiting strongly recommended
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system strongly preferred
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Management or recently graduated strongly recommended
  • Must be able to work between 25-29 hours each week during normal business hours

Preferable Requirements:

  • Previous held Leadership roles i.e., Campus, Community or Sports
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience

Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following such as sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting, climbing, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, typing, filing, seeing, and reading. Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, copy machine, and fax machine is required.
