There are two positions available. By applying to this position you will be considered for both openings.


  • Perform duties and functions as outlined in the Safety Performance Assurance Policy and Procedures Manual
  • Perform Station Assurance QA audits per Safety Performance Assurance Policy and Procedures Manual
  • Coordinate and communicate with Leadership to schedule and accomplish audits
  • Train Operational Departments, Location Leaders and Supervisors on QC Program and concepts
  • Train and Qualify QC auditors
  • Conduct Inbrief & Outbrief with Station Leadership
  • Conduct and document observation and interviews
  • Record audit results in data collection tool
  • Identify and document Station Assurance non-conformances
  • Input and manage audit and travel data via a computing system
  • Evaluate and assess effectiveness of local QC processes and report weekly
  • Recommends policy and procedure changes for process improvement to Station Assurance Leadership
  • Complies with directives set forth by the Manager Station Assurance

May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leaders.



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree specializing in aviation, auditing and/or safety preferred


  • 2 years experience with airline operations preferred
  • 2 years of SWA auditing work experience preferred
  • Experience and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required
  • Evaluation, auditing experience preferred
  • Experience in research and writing skills for document/report preparation required

Knowledge of CFRs, OpSpecs, FAA Order 8900.1, OSHA and other regulatory requirements and guidance preferred


  • Must be able to lift and/or move items of 50 pounds and/or more on a periodic basis
  • Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a periodic basis
  • Required travel as outlined in the Operations Oversight Plan can be up to 70% with potential for increased/decreased based on Station Assurance Manager
  • May require extended work hours based on workload and/or Station Assurance Leadership request


Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

  • Knowledge of airline part 121 or experience in related areas preferred
  • Must be able to understand airline operational manuals and technical documents and data
  • Knowledge of CFRs, OpSpecs and FAA Order 8900.1, OSHA and TSA regulations and guidance preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required
  • Ability to produce reports (written, charts, graphs) required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company
  • Must be able to comply with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge ofAirport Technology applications such as OTIS preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand documents, follow instructions, and documented processes required
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must provide friendly service to and maintain positive relationships with all Internal and External Customers
