Kinder Morgan is looking for a full-time Maintenance Coordinator with a background in maintenance and scheduling. The successful candidate will provide support to the Maintenance Supervisor in the areas of, but are not limited to:
Assist Maintenance Supervisor with generating, scheduling, tracking and follow up on all tasks to be completed.
To assist other Terminal personnel in all aspects of terminal operations.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in an estimator/planner/scheduler capacity.
Enter all data in Computer Maintenance Management System (Dossier system).
Source the most cost effective vendor for parts and supplies.
Purchase supplies and materials as directed by Management.
Cost tracking all items purchased.
Obtaining bids/estimates.
Centralize all the spending for the department.
Maintain inventory records of spare parts and notify appropriate personnel when time to reorder.
Assist with tracking of capital spares and inventory management.
Assist with expediting deliveries when requested.
Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal and listening skills.
Write effectively and understand written communications.
Assign work orders/work pending assignments and priorities for each employee under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance.
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.
Provide back up to other office personnel.
May be required to occasionally work non-traditional (overtime) hours.
Other duties as assigned.
Administrative duties as required (e.g. data entry, filing, organizing, invoice tracking etc.).
High School Education or equivalent (GED) required.
Certified Business Degree or equivalent is desirable
Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills; ability to work in a fast paced deadline-driven environment
Minimum 1 to 2 years direct work experience in a purchasing/processing role or as providing office/ administrative support.
Must be able to prioritize workload and multi-task while providing timely and accurate turnaround on tasks, sometimes with strict deadlines and minimal supervision or direction.
Must be self-directed and take initiative.
Must have strong communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and database applications).
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record to the Company and it insurers.
Strong research and writing aptitude; ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical audience.
Effective interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
