Kinder Morgan Canada is seeking an Invoice/Requisition Analyst (term role) for the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project (TMEP). In operation since 1953, the Trans Mountain Pipeline spans 1,150 kilometers from Edmonton, Alberta to Burnaby, British Columbia with a capacity of the 300,000 barrels per day. In spring 2012, Kinder Morgan Canada announced its plans to proceed with its proposed expansion of the existing Trans Mountain Pipeline system. TMEP is an approximately $5B project to increase the capacity of the Trans Mountain Pipeline System by completing the twinning of the existing pipeline. This position will be required for the duration of the projects (approximately 6 years). The Invoice/Requisition Analyst will report to the Supervisor, Project Services and work closely with and in support of the Project Cost Controller. Invoice/Requisition Analyst will assist the Project Cost Controller with their duties and any other duties assigned to them with major focus on proceeding invoices. The following is a guideline but assignments are not limited to this list.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Receive, sort, and coding invoices as per project commitments.
Check billing information on invoice as rate, hours, expenses.
Tracks and carries invoices through approval, in accordance with the Financial Authority Structure (FAS) and forward it to finance.
Manage invoice log.
Prepare requisitions, follow requisition approval process, manage requisition log.
Support Project Cost Controller with required reports and analysis.
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
1 to 3 years of related experience.
Good communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational, analytical, and computer skills.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to seek needed information.
