Responsibilities:

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

Partners with senior leadership and other departments to lead various activities required in the ongoing development of the Company's strategic plan, associated portfolios, and implementation of initiatives against the plan. Personally considered a business strategy/portfolio management expert responsible for driving analysis, recommendations, and delivery.

Work activities include:

  • Contribute to development of strategies and portfolio management.
  • Contribute to the measurement of strategic opportunities and programs.
  • Contribute to the development of the Company's strategic plan and roadmap.
  • Provide research, analysis and development support for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate industry and competitive research analysis.
  • Create presentations intended for officers of the company and sometimes deliver presentations. intended for director level positions
  • Manage and support mid to large-scale change initiatives.

May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leaders.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Finance or related field or 4 years of relevant work experience required
  • MBA preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience developing and executing strategic plans.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years managing people or leading/influencing Teams

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a Business and / or Information Technology environment leading teams, driving and delivery complex projects and programs required

  • Must have the ability to develop a team's capabilities while simultaneously driving programs and projects

  • Must have the ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a cross-functional, team-orientated environment

  • Hands-on experience in portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting required.

  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations at the Executive Level required.

  • PMP/PMI certification/equivalent or Lean/Six Sigma certification a plus

  • Experience leading projects and programs within cross functional business units, as well as projects and programs that involved external providers

  • Previous direct leadership experience a plus.

  • Experience working with financial planning, business unit leaders, and service managers to develop and manage project and program budgeting and cost estimation approaches, resource allocation, and reallocations preferred.

  • Experience monitoring value metrics to inform decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs preferred.

  • Experience working with Business Leaders to develop project and program resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects preferred.

  • Experience in organizational change management preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
    Must have strong knowledge of strategic and financial analysis.
  • Must have proven analytical and quantitative skills; experience with spreadsheets or other quantitative modeling.
  • Must have the ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
  • Must have the ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must have the ability to contend with the range and complexity of large business problems.
  • Must have the ability to plan and drive large business initiatives to completion.
  • Must have the ability to understand corporate financial analysis and financial statements.
  • Must have the ability to partner and work effectively with all levels of management to develop and implement Company plans.
  • Must be an expert in developing and delivering presentations to large audiences including senior leadership.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner.
  • Proven ability in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proven ability in designing and conducting analyses, as well as synthesizing recommendations.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
