  • Responsible for reconciling specified General Ledger accounts.
  • Prepares journal entries to record General Ledger activity.
  • Interfaces with other departments, as well as with Internal and External auditors.
  • Extended hours and some weekends required during peak times.
  • Assists in training new Employees.
  • Fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle complex issues and be able to perform well under pressure.
  • Provides explanations for variances in specified General Ledger accounts.

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.

May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leaders.



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.


  • BBA with at least 12 hours Accounting coursework required; Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.


  • Up to two years accounting experience required, preferably with a public company or public accounting firm, and preferably with some experience in accounting for fixed assets.


  • CPA preferred.


  • Ability to stand, bend and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.


  • Demonstrates dedicated, proactive Customer Service to all internal and external Customers.
  • Builds strong working relationships and works effectively as part of a Team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; solution-driven; provides effective recommendations to leader.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to manage detailed, concurrent tasks; ability to successfully meet deadlines and perform under pressure; displays a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive situations.
  • Working knowledge of SWA budget process preferred.
  • Demonstrates integrity in all actions and decisions.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • ERP systems knowledge preferred.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.


  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information.

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
